Comparison

Antify and Proxifier: the verifiable differences

A feature-by-feature comparison. Everything on the Antify side comes from its source code; everything on the Proxifier side is quoted from its own website, with the date it was read.

This page does not rank the two, and carries no performance or speed comparison, because none of that can be verified here. The Antify side comes from this project source; the Proxifier side is quoted from their site, read on 15 September 2026. Software changes, so check their site for what is true when you read this.

01

Three points that may end the comparison early

  • You need Windows or Android: Antify is macOS only and requires macOS 14.0 or later. The Proxifier site offers Windows, Mac, and Android versions.
  • You need proxy chains, sending traffic through several proxies in sequence: Antify has no such feature. The Proxifier features page states chains of "arbitrary length", with different protocols usable within one chain.
  • You need SOCKS4: Antify supports SOCKS5, HTTP, and HTTPS only. The Proxifier features page lists SOCKS 4, SOCKS 4A, SOCKS 5, HTTPS, and HTTP.
02

Platforms and system requirements

Antify is macOS only, requires macOS 14.0 or later, and works through a NetworkExtension system extension that the user approves in System Settings on first use.

The Proxifier download page states its requirement as macOS 12-26. Another page on that site lists an earlier range, and the two do not agree; the download page figure is used here. Check their site for what it says when you read this.

03

Licensing and price

The Proxifier site lists $39.95 for a single license, down to $24.99 per copy at 100 or more. It states the license is perpetual and includes all future minor version updates, and that the Windows and Mac versions are separate products, each needing its own license. The site also states a 31-day fully functional trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Antify is at version 0.0.x. Its site publishes no pricing page, and the current version contains no purchase or activation screen.

04

What is on the Antify side

Everything below is provable from the current source. Listing it does not imply the other product lacks it: where their site says nothing, nothing is claimed here.

  • Three actions per rule: Proxy, Direct, and Block. Block requires no proxy server.
  • A rule can target a .app, a command-line executable, a script package, or a directory.
  • A rule can optionally cover the other processes that app launches; the switch is off by default. XPC services of an app always follow the host app rule.
  • A whole configuration can switch automatically based on the Wi-Fi network in use.
  • Each proxy carries two switches: whether a failed proxy may fall back to a direct connection (off by default), and whether that proxy can reach private networks (off by default).
  • Connection records carry a match-level badge showing which rule layer matched each connection.
  • DNS queries for proxied apps are protected by default, with domain names handed to the proxy to resolve.
